Friday, June 23:
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a medical emergency.
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a second medical emergency.
• Responded to a residence on a welfare check. The resident was contacted and asked to call the original caller back.
• Assisted an Allegan County Sheriff’s Office deputy with traffic control on a personal injury traffic accident at 102nd and 16th Street.
• Conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a passenger on a warrant.
• Checked the area for a suspicious woman out walking with an infant.
• Investigated a loud noise complaint.
• Conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of the driver for driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, June 24
• Responded to a residence on a domestic dispute (no assault). The male half was given a ride to a different address to defuse the problem.
• Responded to the report of an SUV leaking gasoline.
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a medical emergency.
• Investigated a domestic assault complaint between a father and daughter.
• Contacted and warned a solicitor going door to door.
• Officer stood by as a peace officer at a residence while one party removed property from the home.
• Assisted Plainwell with a lost kayaker in the river. The kayaker was finally located without any problems.
• Investigated two fireworks violations. Both were given warnings.
Sunday, June 25
• Responded to a residence on report of someone shooting a gun nearby. Although no shooting was witnessed by the officer, it was determined that the shooting had occurred in the township.
• Assisted a Plainwell officer on a domestic assault at the Wesco Gas Station.
• Assisted an Allegan County Sheriff’s Office deputy by checking an address on Helen Ave for the suspect vehicle in a hit and run accident the deputy was working.
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a medical emergency.
• Assisted the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office by checking on a suspicious vehicle as there was no deputy available.
• Responded to a residence on a possible domestic assault. No assault occurred.
Monday, June 26:
• Investigated a harassment complaint occurring on Facebook.
• Responded to a residence on a civil dispute over an unpaid bill.
• Conducted a traffic stop resulting in the arrest of two people, both on separate warrants.
• Investigated a complaint of malicious destruction of property.
• Responded to a residence on an open burning complaint. Warning issued.
• Responded to a residence on a welfare check.
• Responded to a residence on a landlord/tenant issue.
• Responded to a residence on a second welfare check.
• Officer contacted the owner of a dog out running loose.
• Contacted and warned an owner in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Tuesday, June 27
• Responded to the Aspen Park Apartments on a possible domestic assault. No assault, verbal argument only.
• Responded to a residence on the report of a stranger walking around her home and car. The officer checked the area but could not locate the subject.
• Assisted the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office by responding to a personal injury traffic accident on M-89 in front of Culvers until a deputy could arrive to take over.
• Responded to a residence on a verbal argument between a man and woman.
• Contacted and identified a subject out riding a bike at 1:10 a.m.
• Contacted a resident who wanted fireworks she possessed destroyed.
Wednesday, June 28
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a medical emergency.
Thursday, June 29
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a medical emergency.
• Investigated a child abuse tip turned into CPS. The complaint alleged drug use (marijuana) in the home. Contact made with the resident who legally holds a medical marijuana card.
• Responded to a residence where he stood by as a peace officer while one party removed property from the residence.
• Responded to a residence to contact several children who had been playing with fire.
• Responded along with Otsego Fire Department and EMS personnel on a medical emergency.
• Investigated a fireworks complaint.
• Investigated a hit-and-run traffic accident. The hit-and-run driver was located and arrested for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and resisting and obstructing the officer.
• Investigated a second fireworks complaint.
• Assisted Plainwell public safety on a fight.
