COOPER TWP.—Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office deputies looking for a stolen Boy Scout trailer found it—and a lot more.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were called Thursday, Sept. 14, about 8 p.m. to a home on McKinley Street in southeastern Cooper Township by a caller who’d found the stolen trailer.
The deputies also saw what appeared to be a marijuana grow operation and obtained a search warrant, which was executed by the Kalamazoo Metropolitan SWAT team.
Five people were found inside the home and one was arrested and taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
Police said they found what they believe is marijuana, methamphetamine, multiple pseudoephedrine pills, firearms and the stolen trailer.
Kalamazoo Township Police Department officers also assisted.
