Otsego police are keeping an eye out for a man in a vehicle who approached a high schooler Friday, Nov. 3.
Otsego Police Department chief Gordon Konkle said the 15-year-old girl and her family had reported the incident on Friday.
A white man in his 20s wearing a camouflage jacket and driving a silver crossover-type vehicle approached her near Conference and Morrell streets and asked her if she was in high school. She told police she didn’t respond.
“By the time she’d gotten to her friend’s house, she’d seen him four or five times and felt he was following her and it was creepy,” Konkle said.
Otsego police will pay special attention and contact the man if he’s seen, Konkle said.
Otsego Public Schools sent out a phone recording Monday to warn parents and students.
