Otsego High School presents “Annie” for the 2018 Musical performance, offering “one for the whole family.”
The play will be performed for two weekends in March and feature about 80 students in the cast and crew.
Vocal Musical Director, Taylor Gudbrandson, said they try to choose different genres and different eras each year for the musical so that kids have a unique experience each of their high school years.
“Annie” also has a lot of parts available to students so they can feature both younger and older students. The show also features Sandy, the dog, which is played by “Q”, Special Education teacher, Erin Cramer’s dog who is a regular in her classroom and well-known throughout the school.
Tickets are available online at www.otsegops.tix.com or at the box office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and are $14 for adults and $12 for students with ID.
Shows are as follows:
Friday, March 16, and Saturday, March 17, at 7 p.m.
Sunday, March 18, at 3 p.m.
Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m.
There will also be an “Afternoon with Annie” kids event on Saturday, March 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. for kids ages 4 through fifth grade. Kids are invited to meet the cast, have lunch and pictures with the cast, play games with Daddy Warbucks, sing with Annie, Sandy and the Orphans and dance with cast members. There will also be crafts with Grace.
The kid’s day with Annie event can be purchased with any show time, you do not have to attend the performance on March 17 to attend the children’s gala. You will have that option when you click purchase.
